Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated a new 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College's Super Specialty Hospital in Indore. The inauguration also included a newly constructed (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, costing around Rs 6 crore. The advanced CT scan machine, donated by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, will enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. Yadav cut the ribbon of the CT scan room, offered prayers, and received a detailed briefing about the new machine. The new building at the dental college, constructed by the Public Works Department, addresses space constraints identified by the Dental Council of India. The state government is also installing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation to benefit students and outpatients. Yadav emphasized the state's dedication to improving healthcare services, stating that the CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and accurate diagnoses, while the new dental college building will provide world-class facilities. The CM announced during his visit that the MR-10 situated ISBT in Indore is expected to be operational by December, becoming India's largest inter-state bus terminal. The futuristic terminal, resembling an airport, will be a significant addition to the state's infrastructure and a landmark for Indore.The infrastructure has been upgraded, especially in preparation for the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering. The newly built 15-acre terminal, funded by IDA at a cost of Rs 101 crore, is set to greatly enhance the travel experience for passengers. With the capacity to handle up to 80,000 passengers daily and accommodate 1,440 buses round the clock, the ISBT boasts 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking facility, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other amenities. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College. During a visit to the Sanchi Dairy Plant in Indore, the CM reassured employees that there would be no lay-offs, emphasizing the government's commitment to bolstering the dairy sector and supporting dairy cooperatives in the state. In a separate event, the CM unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi at the city forest, honoring her community's sacrifice in environmental conservation. The Chief Minister also sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and was briefed on the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for about 50,000 individuals.
